PLANADES and UP SURP, led organizing with other partners including the City and Regional Planning (CRP) Department, UET Lahore, Pakistan; School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Curtin University, Australia; TU Dortmund, Germany; and Disaster Preparedness Mitigation and Management (DPMM) Program, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, a side event during the UNDRR Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GP2025) in Switzerland.
The event was highly successful and well-attended; indeed, it convened a distinguished cross-section of policymakers, experts, practitioners, and representatives from civil society and international organizations, highlighting Nation’s strategic leadership in advancing the global DRR agenda. February 13, 2025 marked a significant milestone as PLANADES and EMB-NCR formalized their partnership at the EMB-NCR Conference Room.
